Flexdeal SIMFE announced in a statement the payment of dividends for the financial year 2022, in the amount of 0.1169 euros per share. Since the da ex-dividend is March 20th and the payment date is March 22nd.

The first and only Sociedade de Investimento Mobiliário para o Fomento da Economia (SIMFE) in Portugal presented its positive net results and says it will distribute dividends to its shareholders, for the first time since it entered the regulated market.

When calculating the dividend amount, the number of own shares held by the company was taken into account, which today total 73,574 shares. “It should be noted that Flexdeal presents positive net results and distributes dividends to its shareholders since it entered the regulated market”, reads the note.

With total assets evolving positively by 5.6% (plus 1.2 million euros), i.e. from 21.5 million in 2021 to 22.7 million euros in 2022, and an EBITDA of around 439 thousand euros, Flexdeal’s profits were close to 252.5 thousand euros and the consolidated net result was 211.7 thousand euros.

“It should be recalled that the revision of the legal regime of SIMFE provided the expansion of its scope of action, through the expansion of the financial instruments that can constitute its assets”, says the company in a statement.

“In particular, the fact that SIMFE can now act as co-investors with Banco Português de Fomento allowed Flexdeal to be strategically positioned to take medium-long-term financing (MLP) to SMEs in partnership with that institution, with the global amount proposed for the lines in force exceeds 50 million euros”, adds Flexdeal.

This MLP financing offer allows Flexdeal to diversify its operations beyond short-term financing to support the treasury that it provides to its subsidiaries.
