During a flight from Delhi to London, an Air India passenger assaulted two staff members mid-air. Due to this incident, the flight had to return to Delhi. The flight had departed from New Delhi International Airport in the morning of April 10 with 256 passengers on board. While in the air, an argument between a passenger and the flight attendants broke out. Despite a written warning from the pilot, the passenger continued to argue and assaulted two staff members. As a result, the pilot decided to turn the plane back to Delhi. Upon landing, the passenger was handed over to security forces and a complaint was filed with the police. The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) office has also been informed about the incident.

An Air India flight left New Delhi International Airport with 256 passengers for London, the British capital today (April 10) at 6:30 am. While the flight was mid-air, a passenger got into an argument with the flight attendants. The pilot was informed about this. Ignoring his written warning, the passenger continued to argue and assaulted two staff members.

After this the pilot decided to turn the plane back to Delhi. Accordingly at 10 am the flight landed at Delhi airport and the passenger was handed over to the security forces. A complaint was filed with the police regarding the assault on the employees. The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) office has also been informed about the incident.
