Hotel was invaded by a flood

During a storm that occurred on April 30, a hotel in Arroio do Tigre (RS) was the victim of a flood, as shown in videos captured by security cameras and released this Tuesday (7).

The Hotel and Cabanas Marachall, located in the region, faced an emergency situation when the force of water invaded its facilities, causing significant damage.

Security camera images reveal the overwhelming current entering the hotel reception, dragging furniture and invading the adjacent restaurant.

Tables, chairs and other objects were pushed by the water at high speed, while a car parked in the garage was moved by the force of the flood.

Jocelaine Nunes, resident and caretaker of the place, described to CNN Brasil the material damage caused by the incident, however, there were no injuries.

According to reports, the flood was triggered by the collapse of a wall on the outskirts of the establishment, triggering the flow of water that reached the hotel.
