Floods: 33 dead in Nepal – NEWS 360 – WORLD

KATHMANDU: 33 people have been killed in floods and landslides following a week of heavy rains in western Nepal. Thousands of people were displaced in Karnali province. Many houses were destroyed. It is reported that 22 people are missing. There is also a heavy snowfall. The water level in the Karnali river has risen. This also caused floods. Suspension bridges in the river were also swept away. Nepal’s National Emergency Operations Center said 110 people have died in the rain so far this year.
