Since Friday the 17th, the rains that have hit Rio Grande do Sul have left people homeless, collapsed bridges, caused power outages in several cities and closed roads.

According to G1, the main regions affected are Serra, the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre and Vale do Taquari, hit by an extratropical cyclone in September, which left more than 50 people dead.

The Fire Department reported that there is one injured person, who was treated by the Mobile Emergency Care Service, but who is not at risk of dying.
