In Florence, guest of the national festival of civil economy, Diodato was the first, welcomed by the mayor Dario Nardella and the councilor for culture Tommaso Sacchi, to play the grand piano which from 26 September will be available to everyone in the courtyard of the Palazzo Old. The instrument, donated by Muse in the presence of President Matteo Spanò, replaces the one placed over two years ago which then remained unusable for a long time due to Covid. “The piano has been silent and sealed throughout the pandemic – said Councilor Sacchi – but now that the contagion curve gives us hope for a rebirth we wanted to make a new one available for anyone who wants to play it, a reason in more to get our guests back to museums. We wanted to call it Libero to underline the desire for music, culture and freedom that animates us after too many months of closure ».
