Tonight, 14 beautiful Salvadorans competed to be crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2024 and represent the country in the 73rd edition of the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, which will take place on November 16 in Mexico.
The ceremony began with the presentation of the candidates and their parade in opening dress, then in swimsuits and finally in evening dress. In each of the presentations, the 14 Salvadoran women paraded on stage, overflowing with their beauty and charm.
The ceremony highlighted the top 10 semi-finalists, who were: Bianca Marenco, Miss Sonsonate; Tifany Peña, Miss Morazán; Giselle Sandoval, Miss Ahuachapán; Diana Portillo, Miss San Vicente; Florence García, Miss San Miguel; Iris Guerra, Miss La Unión; Saori Pacheco, Miss Usulután; Luciana Martínez, Miss Santa Ana; Jocelyn Gallegos, Miss La Libertad and Débora Guadrón, Miss San Salvador.
The event then followed its characteristic competition format and the five finalists of Miss El Salvador 2024 were selected, who were: Jocelyn Gallegos, Miss La Libertad; Luciana Martínez, Miss Santa Ana; Iris Guerra, Miss La Unión; Florence García, Miss San Miguel and Giselle Sandoval, Miss Ahuachapán.
These five finalists went on to the question round, where each of them had to answer the questions formulated by each of the five judges to find out how the candidates express themselves and think.
After the round of questions, the judges chose the top 3 finalists of the night, who were: Luciana Martínez, Miss Santa Ana; Giselle Sandoval, Miss Ahuachapán and Florence García, Miss San Miguel.
After a new round of questions between the three finalists, the night reached its peak of tension, where the judges had to make the decision of the winner and new queen of Miss Universe El Salvador 2024.
In the end, and after much suspense, the judges determined that Florence García (Miss San Miguel) would be crowned as the new representative of El Salvador in the next edition of Miss Universe 2024.
Florence García received the crown from the current monarch, Isabella García Manzo, who represented the country at the Miss Universe 2023 ceremony that took place last November at the Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium in San Salvador.
The podium ended with Florence García (Miss San Miguel) as the new Miss Universe El Salvador 2024, Luciana Martínez (Miss Santa Ana) as first runner-up and Giselle Sandoval (Miss Ahuachapán) as second runner-up.
