To the official microphones of the Fiorentina the new Viola midfielder Edoardo Bove spoke. Below are his words during the press conference.
On the new adventure
The reason why I chose Fiorentina is the project. Firenze it’s a fantastic place with the most beautiful sports center in Italy, it’s the right place to grow as a person and as a footballer. I feel ready to become the starting midfielder for Fiorentina. My goal is to reach the maximum number of appearances with this shirt. Two other midfielders arrived with me, I had the opportunity to meet them and they are fantastic guys. Being supported by these people helps you both on and off the pitch.
Farewell to Rome
Leaving Roma was my choice. I felt out of the project and this is not good for my growth, I need to play and demonstrate my qualities. I came to Firenze to feel important and play lots of games.
In midfield there are 5 of you with different characteristics, what did Palladino ask of you?
The coach in particular asked me to apply myself. I have just arrived and I need time to assimilate the concepts that Palladino asks. I am always available, I want to play and I am ready to do what the coach asks of me. Obviously I prefer to play in midfield but I am ready for anything
On the relationship with the goal and the competition in midfield
My relationship with goals can be better, I have always scored since I was young. In recent years they have been missing but I am sure they will return. I do not feel in competition with my teammates, we all give our best and whoever is better will play
