Florence, the Boboli Gardens does not close for holidays: open all summer

The Boboli Gardens will remain open throughout the summer. Seven days a week the Medici park will continue to welcome visitors throughout the summer and beyond. At the moment, therefore, the traditional closures of the first and last Monday of the month are suspended: on 7 and 28 June, 5 and 26 July, 2 August, 27 September and 4 and 25 October the Boboli Gardens will remain open ( with the exception of August 30 and September 6) in a completely extraordinary way from 10.30 to 18.30 (last admission one hour before closing).

Until the end of June, every Tuesday and Thursday, at 10 am, it will also be possible to participate in the “Boboli Literary Garden” initiative. A free guided tour in Italian and English included in the price of the regular admission ticket to Boboli which will retrace the footsteps of writers of the past who have decided to speak or even set their novel in the most famous garden of Florence. To join the initiative it is necessary to book, by the Friday before the chosen date, by writing an email to: [email protected]. The groups, maximum 10 people per date, will follow the order in which the emails are received. The appointment for the start of the visit, lasting about two hours, at the central door of Palazzo Pitti.
