On July 24, the US Coast Guard announced this discovery on the X network, formerly Twitter, attributing it to a “boater”. They had also published a photo of this miraculous catch: 25 small packages each bearing the design of a butterfly.
The Castor family boarded the package, the size of a microwave oven, and notified local authorities, who seized the goods, 31.7 kg of white powder estimated at 1.1 million dollars. The drugs were distributed in 25 bags, wrapped in plastic.
