The party of Boca Juniors fans on Copacabana beach, in the southern part of Rio de Janeiro, this Thursday (2), ended in a fight with the arrival of organized Fluminense groups. Both teams will meet on Saturday (4) in the final of the Copa Libertadores at the Maracanã.
Fluminense fans arrived at the location around 5:00 p.m. where the Argentines displayed flags and sang songs in support of their team. The Military Police, who were following the mobilization of the Boca fans, used tear gas to try to disperse the group. Two Argentines and a Brazilian were arrested.
One of them was arrested after a chase that reached the Copacabana sea. A Military Police video shows people calling him racist. The corporation did not report the reason for the arrest of this and the other two men.
The Argentines gathered at the Buenos Aires kiosk, which became a meeting point for foreigners in the 2014 Cup. The social networks of the organized Fluminense groups show the group walking through the streets of the neighborhood in the direction of the place.
