An unusual accident in Netanya: A vehicle collided today (Friday) at the ‘Amale’ restaurant on Pinsker Street in the city and injured the driver and three people who were present at the time. Police have begun investigating the circumstances of the incident.
According to the suspicion, the driver of the car, a 70-year-old city resident, lost control of the vehicle, got on the sidewalk and hit two diners and a local worker. A 58-year-old woman in moderate condition and a 44-year-old man in mild condition. All the injured were evacuated for medical treatment at Laniado Hospital in the city.
The manager of the Amala restaurant told Walla! Because “the people were sitting and eating, and suddenly Otto came quickly and threw them away. There was a panic, the vehicle threw all the benches in place.”
