Merdinger points out that for “many years” the aeronautical and transportation industry has been thinking about this type of vehicle, but it has not been until the advent of the technology and propulsion systems used in drones that it has been possible to set realistic goals in the short term.

The starting price is $300,000 (285,000 euros) and the executive points out that he already has up to 370 advance requests, mostly from private clients.
