The first commercial voyage to the International Space Station has begun. With the SpaceX rocket, three rich people have flown in at a cost of about Rs 1,250 crore.

SpeaksX’s Falcon rocket took off from the Kennedy space station in the United States to the International Space Station last night. The three super-rich have gone on a business trip led by former NASA astronaut Michael Lopez-Alexria.

The rich are Larry Connor, real estate tycoon from Ohio, Israel, Aidan Stipe, an Israeli businessman, and Mark Pathi, a Canadian investor. During the 10-day voyage, the trio will spend 8 days on the International Space Station doing scientific research. The amount each rich person spends on this is about 418 crores in Indian rupees. Of this, food in space alone costs one and a half lakh rupees a day per person.

Bubble Eight, who will be former astronaut Michael Lopez with three rich people, joins the International Space Station today. Michael Lopez Allegri, who led the mission, is an experienced astronaut who flew 4 spacecraft between 1995 and 2007 while working at NASA. All four will be called Axiom-1 employees. Axiom is a commercial space travel company.

The International Space Station was formed in 1998 by the United States, Russia, Canada, Japan and some European countries to orbit the Earth for space exploration. So far, astronauts from more than 15 countries, including the United States and Russia, have returned from research.
