The Fnac Darty group is preparing to compete with Amazon and Cdiscount by selling logistics services to other merchants. It has just signed a preliminary agreement with Ceva, the logistics branch of CMA CGM, the leader in delivery in France. Objective: create a joint company, called Weavenn, which will offer e-retailers the ability to take charge of all the logistical management associated with the sale of their products, or even connect them to any marketplace, and not just that of Fnac or Darty. The company will be jointly owned by Fnac Darty and Ceva. It should be operational in 2024.
