Accused of calling for jihad against the old regime, Fodé Oussou Fofana files a complaint against X for defamation and slanderous denunciation. Offenses are prevented and punished by the provisions of articles 361 and 363 of the Penal Code.
According to Me Salifou Béavogui, lawyer for Fodé Oussou Fofana, “ill-intentioned people have carried out a crude montage of images and comments broadcast on social networks to make people believe that the Honorable Fodé Oussou Fofana would be the author of the said comments”, said the lawyer.
And Me Salifou Béavogui added: “To achieve this, they recycled a press article from the Guinea Vision information site dating from 2019 and reporting misinterpreted allegations according to which the Honorable Fodé Oussou Fofana would have called for jihad against the deceased regime, during the popular protests against the 3th mandate”.
According to the lawyer, these actions seriously undermine the honor, dignity and consideration of the vice-president of the Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea.
Me Salifou Béavogui emphasizes that his client wants the perpetrators of these reprehensible acts to be found and brought to justice to answer for their actions.
