This surprise was successful! Fans of folk music rubbed their eyes and ears at the ARD performance of the Kastelruther Spatzen – the band sang again with Oswald Sattler (65).
A small sensation in the industry! Because the wiry South Tyrolean co-founded the band in 1975 – but left almost exactly 30 years ago. From then on he only sang as a solo artist. Quickly made a name for himself.

His buddies from the 6,800-person community of Kastelruth in Italy continued to play happily and with great success. Sold millions of records and CD’s.

It is true that there was no permanent reunion in the TV show “Always Again on Sundays”. But at least they sing together again. Moderator Stefan Mross (47) rejoiced shortly after 10 a.m.: “A sensation is looming!” The Kastelruther Spatzen had just sung their title “Herz and Heimat”.

But why was there a breakup at all?
Frontman Norbert Rier (63) said, moved: “30 years ago, it was all a bit much for Oswald with all the performances. Besides, he was about to get married. Of course we spoke out and of course we parted on good terms. We all live in the same place. We are all the happier that there has now been a duet title.”
