This November 20th José Pagés Llergo Foundation will present its 2024 National Communication Award.
This year’s edition is dedicated, as read on its Facebook page:
“To recognize the judges, social leaders and communicators who have led the defense of the autonomy and independence of the Judiciary despite the threats, coercion and harassment of those in power.”

The event headed by the director of the Foundation, Beatriz Pagés, will have the participation of the ministers of the Supreme Court, Luis María Aguilar and José Medina Mora, the PRD member Guadalupe Acosta Naranjo, as well as the analyst María Amparo Casar.
Among the winners of this award are the writer Guillermo Sheridan, the publicist Carlos Alazraky, the journalist Pedro Ferriz de Con, the cartoonist Paco Calderón, the host Ciro Gómez Leyva, Israel Sánchez Martínez president of the National Union of Parents, and Víctor González Torres “Doctor Simi”.
