The President of the United States, Joe Biden, arrived in Israel this Wednesday, in a show of support for the nation in the midst of the conflict with the Hamas Group.
Biden, who already appeared before the media, stated that the attack on a hospital in Gaza, in which hundreds of people died, including patients, doctors and refugees, was due to an “out of control rocket” fired by a terrorist group.
“Based on the information we have so far, it appears that (the impact) was caused by an out-of-control rocket launched by a terrorist group in Gaza,” Biden declared in Tel Aviv.
The US president did not elaborate on what evidence led him to that conclusion, and his officials have not said whether the government has collected any intelligence beyond the information provided by the Israelis.
However, this morning, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) shared audio of Hamas terrorists talking about the Islamic Jihad rocket attack.
On the other hand, no international organization has been able to verify responsibility for the bombing.
