The 2023 edition of the Feroz Awards, organized by the Association of Film Informants of Spain (AICE), will be the fourth that can be seen live through the Feroz Awards YouTube channel. It will be this Saturday, January 28, starting at 7:30 p.m.
The broadcast will start with a special program hosted by journalists david martos y Marion Borrullwho will chat with the stars as they arrive at the Zaragoza Auditorium, greet the fans and meet photographers and reporters on the red carpet.
Another of the essential appointments will be on the profiles of the Feroz on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, which will offer exclusive content.
At 10:00 p.m. the tenth #Feroz2023 gala will start live.
As the culmination of a unique night and after two years with restrictions, after the ceremony an exclusive party will be held for the guests of the Feroz, with the special collaboration of the liquor brands Cointreau and G’Vine.
the beasts of Rodrigo Sorogoyen with 10 nominations, Five beads of Alauda Ruiz de Azua (7) y little pig of Charlotte Pereda (6), are the three films that gather the most nominations. ‘La ruta’ is the series with the most nominations (6) and with four there are four titles: ‘Blackout’, ‘Intimacy’, ‘I don’t like driving’ and ‘Rapa’.
The first teams to compete for the Feroz DAMA Award for the best script for a series are those of ‘Apagón’, ‘Self-defense’, ‘Fácil’, ‘Intimidad’ and ‘La ruta’. This newly created category joins the Feroz DAMA Award for best screenplay for a film.
In the Best Director section, together with Sorogoyen, four women filmmakers are nominated for the first time in the history of the Spanish Grand Prizes: Pilar Palomero and Carla Simón with their second feature films and Carlota Pereda and Alauda Ruiz de Azúa with their debut films.
In the #Feroz2023 there will be a total of 21 categories: eleven film, seven series, two Feroz Arrebato Awards and the Feroz Audi of Honor to Pedro Almodóvar.
The #Feroz2023 are organized by the Association of Cinematographic Informants of Spain and the Zaragoza City Council is its main sponsor. The IAEC is a pluralistic group of more than 240 journalists and critics dedicated to reporting on cinema on television, radio, print and the Internet throughout the country. Since 2014 they have awarded the FEROZ® AWARDS to highlight the best of Spanish audiovisual production of the year. In addition to the annual awards, the association awards the Feroz Zinemaldia Award at the San Sebastián International Film Festival, the Feroz Puerta Oscura Award at the Malaga Festival and the Feroz Cinema Jove Award for best short film at the festival of the same name. .
