Garbage’s Powerful Message
Garbage made a triumphant return to Mexico City with their Corona Capital performance, fulfilling a promise to fans after being forced to cancel a previous show at the Hera Festival due to health concerns. The reunion was emotionally charged, featuring hits like “Vow,” “stupid Girl,” “I Am Only Happy When It Rains,” and “Cherry Lips (Go Baby Go!).” vocalist shirley Manson also used the platform to deliver powerful messages of female empowerment, critique power structures and corruption, and voice support for the LGBT community.
