Food inflation: the prices of our basket have jumped another 6.7% in three months

The weight of the races still weighs heavily on the budget of the French. While overall inflation slowed slightly in May, according to INSEE figures, to 5.1% over one year (after 5.9% in April), prices on the shelves are struggling to begin a frank plunge. Food inflation is still very high, at 14.1% over one year, after rising 15% the previous month.
