Food lovers flocked Master Chef

Manama: The food lovers who flocked to Lulu Dana Mall on Friday evening were proof of how much the expatriate Malayalis loved the ‘Master Chef’ cooking competition.

The tasters thronged in front of the stage and in the area where the contestants displayed their dishes made the competition a huge success.

The contestants started arriving at the stage from 3:30 pm. 50 people displayed their dishes on specially set tables. Along with the main dish of fish, the side dish was presented in front of the audience beautifully decorated.

The judging was done by approaching each contestant, asking about the dish and tasting it. The judging of the first round of ‘Pachaka Mamangam’ took about two hours.

Later, the audience had an opportunity to taste the dishes. The faces of the spectators were shouting that the taste of the fish dishes improved one by one. The contestants were also delighted to see others enjoying the dishes they had made.
