Food prices: up to 3% increase on the receipt… and counting

The household budget is shrinking, inexorably. Inflation, driven by the explosion in energy prices and accelerated by the war in Ukraine, is manhandling the French. The portfolio is now suffering at the supermarket checkout. According to the specialized research institute IRI, FMCG jumped 2.9% in April 2022, compared to the same period last year. The increase amounts to 1.1% compared to March.
