The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (Aesan) expanded this Friday the information related to the alert for presence of hexahydrocannabinol (HHC) in cookies and gummies coming from the Czech Republic decreed on March 22, in which it already warned that its intake implies a “serious risk” to health.
This was stated by this agency attached to the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 in a statement in which it explained that it has been informed by the Valencian Community, through the Coordinated System for Rapid Information Exchange (Sciri), of the presence of hexahydrocannabinol (HHC) in products HHC Spacecakes y HHC Gummies Applefrom the Euphoria brand and HHC Gummiesfrom the Happy Garden brand, which are added to those already included in the information published on March 22, coming from the Czech Republic.
In this way, the affected products are Cookies HHCsold in bags of 30 units by Weed Nation, and HHC Gummies 250 milligrams for sale in a box of 42 units under the same brand; HHC Spacecakes 90 milligrams for sale by Euphoria in a box of three units, and HHC Gummies 300 milligrams for sale by Happy Garden in a 12-unit bottle; and HHC Gummies Apple 120 milligrams, sold by Euphoria in a plastic bag.
According to the information available, there is the possibility of purchasing these food products and other “similar” ones with HHC in their composition through the Internet, the consumption of which implies “a serious risk to health.”

Aesan recommends that people have affected products in their homes.advised by this alert to “refrain” from consuming them.
