Food shortages: it’s the end of abundance in supermarkets

Emmanuel Macron returned, in a serious tone, to the “great upheaval” which has affected us for a few months: “We are experiencing the end of an abundance, an abundance of liquidity without cost, but also of products, of technologies. The Head of State also pointed to “the end of a certain form of recklessness”. A week later, it was the turn of the National Association of Food Industries (Ania) to warn of an imminent risk of “empty shelves”.
