The European night will have been a clearing in the cloudy skies of the Milanese. Without success in three matches before their victory against PSG in the Champions League on Tuesday (2-1), Stefano Pioli’s men conceded a draw in Lecce this Saturday (2-2).

A few moments later, the stadium erupted as Roberto Piccoli sent a cannonball along the thirty-meter post. Surprised, Mike Maignan is beaten and the Lecce players then think they have overthrown the Milanese. It took an intervention from VAR to finally cancel the goal, with referee Rosario Abisso calling an offensive foul from Piccoli.
After this draw, Milan can lose their place on the podium. Hernandez, Maignan and Giroud, the three French players lined up at the start, will return to Clairefontaine on Monday for the French team’s matches against Gibraltar (November 18) and Greece (November 21).
