Football: Exchange meeting in Salé to present the new regulations on refereeing

Salé – The National Directorate of Arbitration (DNA) organized, Tuesday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé, an exchange meeting with the professional clubs of Botola Pro “Inwi”, in order to present the recent modifications relating to arbitration.

Organized under the auspices of the National Professional Football League (LNFP) in coordination with the Central Arbitration Commission (CCA), this meeting was an opportunity for the club presidents, coaches and players present to follow a presentation in which the director of the DNA, Redouan Jiyed, detailed the new rules of the competition for the 2024-2025 season. These changes include goal-line technology, the number of substitutions, the team captain, players’ equipment, fouls and inaccuracies, VAR and penalties. On this occasion, Redouan Jiyed explained that these laws help to better preserve the fairness of the game, which is the beauty of this sport. He stressed that coaches and team captains have a clear responsibility towards football: to respect the referees and their decisions. Following this meeting, the DNA organized a press conference in which it presented its 2024-2025 action plan.
