Football: Lebron James acquires share of Malaga in Spain – Sport

by time news

(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 06 – LeBron James lands in Spanish football. Or at least his company RedBird Capital Partners, of which he is a part, will. This American company has in fact acquired a small package of shares of Malaga, an Andalusian team that plays in the Spanish Serie B. This is what Mundo Deportivo reports in its online edition, adding that in proportion to the size of the club, the purchase of 600 shares made by the company is minimal and certainly LeBron and his members will have no control over the decisions of the team. However, the intention would be to expand this property over time and focus more on football, another of the passions of the great American basketball champion. LeBron is also a shareholder of Liverpool, of which he has owned 2% for a decade. (HANDLE).
