Gennaro Gattuso was not the first target of Marseille leaders. Pablo Longoria had notably approached the former Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier, who ultimately refused the proposal, preferring to take the time to think before getting back to work. It is therefore the Italian who will take his place on the bench at the Vélodrome this Saturday against Monaco.
