(ANSA) – ROME, JULY 5 – After the Serie A calendar, it’s the turn of Serie B. On Wednesday July 10 in the setting of Piazza Europa in Spezia at 7 pm, Lega B president Mauro Balata will press the button that will start the compilation of the matchdays of Serie BKT 2024/2025. The event will be broadcast on Lega B’s social media, Facebook and You Tube. It will be the 93rd Serie B championship since the beginning of its history dating back to 1929/30, which promises to be accompanied by important changes. First of all, the greater distribution of revenues to clubs that field Italian under-21s, i.e. at the age of being called up for youth teams (until last year the distribution was on under-23s). With this new regulation, in force since July 1st but approved in the summer of 2022, Lega B wanted to give a further boost to the system for the valorization of young Italian talents, a topic on the agenda more than ever after the elimination of the Azzurri at Euro 2024.
