For alleged fraud, FGR goes after Victor Flores, railroad leader

The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) requested an arrest warrant against the leader of the Union of Railway Workers of the Mexican Republic (STFRM), Víctor Flores Morales.

This is what can be read in a couple of documents that have been distributed by retired workers who do not agree with Flores Morales’ actions, who has led the Union for almost 30 years.

The document was released hours before the process for the current railroad leader to seek his fifth re-election.

The complaint against the person who heads the STFRM is for alleged fraud against retired workers who would be having their union dues deducted, which would amount to around 1.4 million pesos per month.

13 years ago, Victor Flores was reporting before the then Attorney General’s Office (PGR) for the alleged illegal use of the names of 38 thousand railroad workers for his record-taking and, with this, he obtained union dues for almost 2 million pesos.
