It is noted that there are five FIBA ​​Asia licensed field referees who will work from the playoffs to the final match in the highest basketball competition in the country.

The five names that will be fielded are Mohamed Hasan Salman Alsalam (Bahrain), Urushima Daigo (Japan), Preeda Muongmee (Thailand), Sun Jian (China) and Zein Wissam (Syria).

There is another foreign referee coordinator, namely Wong Chung Min (Malaysia), whose job is to help carry out the… review decisions taken by the referee in each match.

IBL President Director, Junas Miradiarsyah hopes that the presence of foreign referees in IBL can also be a place for exchanging knowledge for local referees.

The national referees who will have FIBA ​​licenses, namely Harja Jaladri, Budi Marfan, Haryanto Sutaryo, Rendi Putera Dwiantino, Rendra Lesmana, will be able to learn from these foreign referees.

“In addition, it also opens up relations with the hope that in the future our referees will also be trusted to lead matches in other countries’ competitions,” said Junas.

The presence of foreign referees makes the match more qualified considering the competence of the referees is above average.
