BOLZANO. Christmas with the family, in his Sesto Pusteriaper Jannik Sinner that on the day of celebration this year too he didn’t want to give up one of his traditions, that of skiing. So this morning he put on his skis, like he did as a child, and allowed himself a few “passes” on the Belvedere slope, in that Crowns Plan where, almost as if to underline his passion for alpine skiing, he was seen moving with a certain mastery.
Jannik has decided to start the season directly at the Australian Open (of which he is the defending champion) and will be in Australia, where his coach awaits him Darren Cahillfrom January 2nd. An exhibition match with Alexei Popyrin is scheduled for the 7th, then on the 10th he will have another one with a colleague yet to be identified.
All this is part of the “Opening Week” which precedes the first round of the Grand Slam in which, in addition to the qualifying matches for the main draw, the best players, such as Sinner, will perform in some charity matches.
