The starting signal for this year’s Oktoberfest has been given. Numerous celebrities also had a blast on the first weekend.

Since Saturday, the beer has been flowing freely again at the Munich Oktoberfest. An absolute must for celebrities: the cattle drive in the Käfer tent, to which Evelyn and Philip Greffenius have been inviting people for more than 25 years. Many stars and starlets accepted the invitation on Sunday evening and drank, celebrated – and flirted.

International celebrities also appeared. For example, “Gossip Girl” star Ed Westwick traveled to the Bavarian capital with his wife Amy Jackson and came dressed in traditional costume. “It’s really crazy here! We’re happy to be here,” said the British actor upon his arrival at the event. “The atmosphere is incredible.”

Among the approximately 1,000 guests was model and singer Anna Ermakova, who brought her mother Angela with her as a companion. “I feel very, very good to be here and to meet so many people, to eat and drink beer. This is not a normal day for me,” she told the news agency spot on news. “I’m having so much fun here. I feel very cool in my dirndl – especially with my cowboy boots.”

Comedian Oliver Pocher, who visited the Oktoberfest as a single for the first time this year after his divorce from ex-wife Amira Aly, was still looking for a companion. “It’s interesting,” said Pocher, joking: “For me it’s just a singles’ exchange: see what’s available and take what comes.” Ex-wife and podcast partner Alessandra Meyer-Wölden, on the other hand, came with her new partner Alexander Müller.
