Local venture capital funds are trying to raise money for local high-tech investments in the Emirates. The Israeli ‘OurCrowd’ becomes the first Israeli venture capital fund to open a registered company in Abu Dhabi. The company establishes a wholly owned subsidiary that begins operating in the Abu Dhabi Global Markets financial center and will operate as a fund manager under the regulation of the Emirates Financial Services Regulatory Authority and will operate under the name OUR CROWD MANAGEMENT ARABIA.
