The Modi Bar-On award will amount to NIS 18,000 each year and is intended for journalists, media people, content creators and docu creators from all fields of media. The award itself will be awarded in a festive ceremony in early June 2023 for journalistic work, or a work related to the world of Israeli sports. It will be possible to submit nominations for the award until March 31, 2023 for articles, works and works that were published starting in January 2022. The award committee The composition of the award committee: Ms. Mika Bar-On (the widow of the late Modi Bar-On), Ms. Anat Seltzer (his partner of Modi to create the series “All People” and “In the State of the Jews”), attorney Shimi Kadosh (Modi’s personal manager and partner), journalist Miri Nebo (representative of the Sports Channel), journalist Tal Shurer (representative of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Journalists and Journalists in Israel ), Hagit Ben Yaakov (Chairman of the Documentary Forum in Israel).
