Air history: Aircraft from the United Arab Emirates will participate in the Independence Day flight for the first time – this was reported tonight (Sunday) on the Ynet website. According to the report, the festive flight will be attended by representatives from all Israeli airlines – El Al, Israir, Arkia, Cal and Ait – along with planes of two airlines from the emirates “Etihad” and “Wiz Air Abu Dhabi”.

The flight will depart at the end of the Air Force flight at 12:45, and will last about half an hour. The planes will pass along the country’s shores from north to south, from Acre to Ashdod, and then return to another section from west to east in the Netanya area. The planes are expected to fly at a low altitude of only 1000 feet, which will give viewers a chance to watch the planes up close.

A total of 8 aircraft will participate in the flight, of which 6 are from Israeli airlines and 2 from the Emirates. The planes will fly as individuals in an open rear row, and the last component in the planes will be a trio structure consisting of a jumbo calf plane accompanied by two Aryt aircraft ambrar planes.

Captain Meidan Bar, chairman of the Israeli Pilots’ Association, said that “first and foremost, this is a pilot of pilots, who are proving that the regional cooperation is feasible, and not just a declaration. I wholeheartedly congratulate the pilots from the Gulf countries who came to take part in our peace flight and wish them continued and even increased cooperation between us. “

“This flight unequivocally indicates the strength of Israeli civil aviation,” he added. “The companies that have had to face the challenges of the Corona for the past two years are now back to full activity – and even more. The variety of participating aircraft indicates the centrality of Israeli aviation in the world and the enormous potential inherent in it. Happy Independence Day!”
