The design studio added: “Translating into a somewhat futuristic expression, Pangeos is 550 meters long and 610 meters wide, at its widest point – the wings. If realized, the vessel will become the largest structure in the world ever built.” The floating city will include 19 villas and 64 apartments on each ‘wing’ of the turtle-shaped yacht. While the face of Pangeos has yet to be revealed, Lazarini expects to invest $8 billion in construction, over an eight-year timeline.

The capes start from the entrance of the harbor area to the central square, which extends into a wide terraced villa and then leads to private houses, buildings and roof terraces, with an upper ‘shell’ area offering the landing of various flying vehicles. In the lower space, the design team houses 30,000 cells or cluster cells and provides an unsinkable floating solution for the basement, which is designed to be built mainly of steel. Pangeos will include a rooftop garden, shopping mall, beach club and ‘Terashipyard’ infrastructure which is 650 meters wide and 600 meters long, providing direct access to the sea. While proposed for Saudi Arabia, Pangeos is designed to sail around the world non-stop, as it will be equipped with an almost endless supply of green energy.
