The Russian company Gazprom announced today (Tuesday) that it will stop supplying natural gas to the Danish energy company Orstad and a European subsidiary of the energy giant “Shel”, which is responsible for a small part of the supply to Germany, starting tomorrow. The severance was made after the two companies refused to pay in rubles as demanded by Moscow, and will take effect starting tomorrow, June 1.
