The first deputy general director of the Russian state corporation Rostec, Vladimir Artyakov, said, “The export order portfolio for Russian military products has exceeded $60 billion for the first time.”
“Since the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, we have been observing, despite the sanctions, a record increase in interest in Russian weapons in the world,” Artyakov told RIA Novosti on the sidelines of the Army-2020 International Military-Technical Forum.
He pointed out that “the portfolio of requests for purchases of Russian weapons and military equipment by foreign countries exceeded $60 billion – something that has never happened before.”
Artyakov noted, “There is a good volume of deferred orders for some samples of modern Russian weapons, and this order will be fulfilled after meeting the needs of the Russian army.”
The activities of the International Military-Technical Forum “Army-2020” will be held during the period from August 12 to 14 in the city of Kubinka, on the outskirts of Moscow. About 1,500 Russian and foreign companies and institutions will participate in the forum, which will display 28,000 pieces of various models of weapons, military equipment and dual-use.
