For the second day, the Israeli occupation army continues its large-scale invasion of the northern West Bank, as part of an operation launched on Tuesday night – Wednesday.
While the occupation forces withdrew from the Far’a camp in Tubas, large forces of the occupation army, with air support, continued the siege of Jenin, Tulkarm and their camps, amid systematic destruction of infrastructure and roads and the siege of hospitals.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarm, last night.
The agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the town from the Anab military checkpoint to the east, and patrolled its main streets, specifically the vicinity of the Martyr Moamen Abu Asal roundabout, the Diwan Al-Sharaqa area, the municipality street, the railway, and the Bazariya intersection.
In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, tonight.
Local sources reported that an occupation army force stormed the village and took up positions in the “Al-Matina” area at the eastern entrance to the village.
The Israeli aggression on the occupied West Bank has so far resulted in the killing of 16 Palestinians, most of whom were killed as a result of raids launched by Israeli drones, while Palestinian resistance fighters are confronting the invasion by opening fire on the invading forces and detonating explosive devices in a number of occupation vehicles and bulldozers.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority announced on Wednesday evening that nearly 1,000 soldiers are participating in the military operation.
The operation is part of the broad campaign launched by the occupation army in the villages, camps and cities of the West Bank since the outbreak of the war on Gaza on October 7. The campaign has so far resulted in the deaths of more than 660 Palestinians and the arrest of about ten thousand people.
