For the second time: NASA had to announce a delay in the Artemis 1 launch

by time news

The American space agency (NASA) announced this evening (Saturday) another delay in the takeoff of the Artemis 1 mission to the moon. As mentioned, the launch was scheduled for 9:17 p.m. Israel time, but a few hours before the deadline – the crews noticed a malfunction related to a leak of liquid hydrogen being injected which is poured into the spaceship’s fuel tanks.

The teams tried to find a solution to the problem, and took several ways to solve it, but when it didn’t work – they had to announce another postponement of the historic event. A new date has not yet been announced when they will try to carry out the historic launch, but in view of the recent failures, which led to two delays in the launch, it is likely that NASA will be careful in determining the next date.
