Another price increase at Tesla, the sixth in number since the brand entered Israel and this time it encompasses all versions of Model 3. The price of the basic version in the basic configuration without additions will now be about NIS 208,000, an increase of about NIS 7,000 compared to the price so far.
The price of the long-term version LR will now stand at about NIS 253,000, an increase of about NIS 8,000. For the first time, the price of the performance version is also rising and it now stands at about NIS 281,000, an increase of about NIS 8,000.
Since the models landed in Israel, there has been an average increase of close to NIS 30,000 in the prices of the 3rd model. As in the past at Tesla, they did not say what the reason for the increase was. It should be noted that the price increase only applies to new orders.
Meanwhile, another shipment of Tesla vehicles from China, the second in the current quarter, is expected to land in Israel this month. However, unlike the previous shipment that landed in February with about 1,500 vehicles, in the current shipment only about 300 cars are expected to arrive.
It is unclear whether they are intended for fleets of leasing companies, which have recently started offering Tesla 3 operational leasing, or whether it reflects a decline in demand for the vehicle. In any case, this is the smallest shipment that Tesla has imported to Israel from the Chinese plant to date.
