The event will be opened on Friday, August 16 at midnight. 22.00 with a night Enduro ride, the distance of which will be 15 km.
In terms of disciplines, the second day (August 17) will be the most saturated, which will begin with the qualifying race, where the starting order for Sunday’s main competition will be determined. Athletes will have to do two laps in the Dzirciem forests.
The “Super Enduro” race will also take place on Saturday, where the participants will compete in pairs on an artificial obstacle course. In this discipline, 32 pairs of athletes will be created, who will determine the strongest by the “Play off” system. The winner of the pair will advance to the next round, while the loser will be out of the competition. The eight fastest, who will have a common start, will enter the finals and the “Super Enduro” laureates will be determined within three laps. This part of the program will be broadcast live by Best4Sport TV.
Sunday morning (August 18) will begin with the Flattrack discipline, which is a short, transparent circuit where riders will be randomly divided into groups of eight athletes. The top four places in each group will qualify for the next round. According to such a play-off system, drivers will continue to compete until the final.
The main distance is scheduled for Sunday at 12.00. In order to finish the main distance of “Rocketbiker Enduro 2024”, the participants will have to overcome three laps in the terrain area of Dzirciem, where the riders will encounter a hilly meadow, forest paths, mountains in the forest, a sand quarry, mud, precipitation, as well as artificially created obstacles. The length of one circle is approximately 20 km. The control time of the competition will be 4 hours.
150 riders from all three Baltic countries – Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia – have already applied for this competition. In previous years, athletes from Spain, Great Britain and Poland also participated.
As usual, spectators will be able to attend the RocketBiker Enduro 2024 competition for all three days without paying an entrance fee.
