The Minister of Economy, Maria Luisa Hayem, announced that the country has experienced economic growth of 3.5% in the year 2023, marking a significant milestone in recent history.

“We have closed the year 2023 with quite positive economic figures,” said the official.

The minister highlighted that this result is due to effective public policies, as well as investment in infrastructure, the promotion of foreign investment and the strengthening of the business sector.

In addition, he highlighted the importance of maintaining a favorable environment for investors and job creation, as fundamental pillars to sustain this growth in the future.

Finally, Hayem expressed his optimism regarding the economic future of El Salvador and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to continue working to promote development and improve the quality of life of all Salvadorans.
