A new edition of the basic level English language course is summoned by the José Martí International Institute of Journalism (IIPJM).
Aimed primarily at journalists and media communicators, it will take place between September 19, 2023 and January 24, 2024, on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon session —from 1:30 to 3:30 pm— .
The course design is supported by the syllabus Interchange, third edition. In addition to using other support materials such as the software English Discovery and bibliographies selected by teachers.
The evaluation system will consist of an intermediate exam and a final exam (written and oral).
As a requirement to graduate from the course, students must comply with systematic attendance and, where appropriate, justify absences duly.

It is important to clarify that journalists and media workers will have priority in registration. The vacancies will be granted to workers and students from other institutions, who must pay a registration fee of 1,800 CUP.
