Forbes, Arnault and Bezos the richest in the world: ranking

by time news

It is the French Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, the richest man in the world along with Jeff Bezos. This is what emerges from the ranking drawn up by the magazine ‘Forbes’. It is the first time in almost six years that a European has ranked at the top of the list of billionaires. With the opening of the US markets, Bezos, CEO of Amazon, took the lead again with an estimated assets of 187.5 billion dollars, ahead of Arnault himself with 186.4 billion dollars.

In third place is Tesla founder Elon Musk with an estimated assets of $ 147.3 billion. Arnault’s fortune, ‘Forbes’ notes, has gone from 76 billion dollars in March 2020 to more than 186 billion today: +110 billion dollars in the last 14 months in particular thanks to the performance recorded by the LVMH group and this despite the pandemic of Covid-19.
