The upcoming winter in Russia will be mild with a lot of snow, and the average air temperature will be set at two to three degrees above normal. This was stated by the chief specialist of the Phobos weather center, Yevgeny Tishkovets, reports Radio Sputnik.
At the same time, according to the forecaster, the country will have a “sufficiently large” amount of snow, which will make this winter mild and comfortable. “Not a cold, not very warm winter, something reminiscent of Eurozima,” he said.

The onset of winter is expected in the central part of Russia from the beginning of next week – November 15, Tishkovets said earlier. He said that this week the weather in the center of the country will change – instead of the state of “late autumn” in the central regions there will be “pre-winter”. “The earth will be covered with a symbolic unstable snow cover, freezing rain will be frozen over, and the roads will be covered with a crust of ice,” he described.
In early October, forecasters at the Phobos Center already warned of a significant increase in precipitation in Russia this winter.
