The strongest rainfall in 73 years is expected in Moscow on Monday, leading expert of the Phobos weather center Yevgeny Tishkovets told RIA Novosti.
In total, a third of the monthly rainfall can fall on Monday. Previously comparable showers were recorded in 1952 and 1959. In total, forecasters expect 16-21 mm of precipitation.
“The average daily air temperature will be about plus five, which corresponds to the climate on October 16. Nature will throw us into the climatic future a month ahead, ”added Tishkovets.
In the Moscow region, the strongest showers will take place in the western, southwestern and southern regions.
